‘Fotoğrafın öncesi-sonrası’ temalı stopmotion film atölyeleri projemiz Kültür için Alan desteğini alan projeler arasında yer aldı! Bu Ekim’den itibaren düzenlenecek olan atölye ‘Kayıt’ projemizin de devamında aile albümlerinden seçilen fotoğrafların o anın öncesi ve sonrasını da hikayeleştiren filmler halinde yeniden üretimleri ile kentin hafızasını yeniden üretecek. Our project proposal ‘Before and After the Photograph’Stop-motion Film Project has been entitled among the winners of the Spaces of Culture fund. With three consecutive stop-motion film workshops that will animate the family photographs of the attendants it is aimed to create an alternative way to look at the history of the city. Tüyap Artist 2018 Sergisine davet edilen 13Metrekare Sanat Kolektifi, sergiye Mardin’de ve çevresinde yaşayan ailelerin albümlerinden fotoğrafların ve ve bu fotoğrafların sözlü hikayelerin toplanması ile sürdürdüğü arşiv/araştırma projesinin bir parçası olan bir çalışma ile katıldı. Mardin’de yaşanan kadın odaklı 3 farklı hikaye ile ortaya çıkan çalışma, video enstallasyon, fotoğraf ve ses enstallasyonları ile izleyici karşısına çıktı.

13Metrekare Art Collective was invited to the Artist 2018 Exhibition which took place in TÜYAP, Istanbul. We attended to the exhibition with a work composed of 3 stories belonging to women who once lived in Mardin. It is a part of our research project ‘The Recording’ which aims to collect and archive photographs from the family albums of the locals and their stories in order to document an alternative history of the city.
